Splicecom Maximiser Telephone System

The IP telephone system that keeps you connected and in control whether you’re in the office or out of it

The ingenious Maximiser – accessed from your computer screen

Splicecom Maximiser Telephone System

This ground-breaking IP telephone system can be operated by way of a special applications browser accessed through your computer screen, or through a standard telephone. Use your mouse to click and 'dial'; see at a glance whose phone is busy and whose is free; and make adjustments to your personal settings.

Travelling sales staff, drivers, and outworkers?

No problem for the Splicecom Maximiser. The system can be programmed to divert calls to mobile phones or to any other remote telephone. Staff on the move can log in whenever they wish and change where they want their incoming calls to be redirected – maybe to voice mail, a mobile, a phone in a branch office or their own home telephone. They can be contacted at any time, wherever they are.

Multiple branches or satellite offices?

Easy. They log on to the system browser, which diverts all their incoming calls to their branch phones. They also dial out and make calls through the browser, and can view on screen telephone usage throughout the entire company. A branch in Eastbourne doesn’t need to know the whereabouts of an employee in mid-Wales – they simply contact him as if it were a normal telephone call and the Maximiser will cleverly route it to whatever phone he has specified.

Splicecom cleverly draws all your various offices and outworkers together into a single seamless network that everyone can access instantly. No one need ever be out of touch again.

With Splicecom there is no compromise in voice quality

If your network is powerful enough to handle your voice calls as well as the data, the Maximiser can take advantage of it. However, you may not have the luxury of so much spare capacity, and in this case your internet and data network is only used to access the Splicecom browser system. All calls are made via the standard PSTN network (public switched telephone network, in case you are interested!), which means that there is none of the degradation in sound quality that you often experience over internet telephones. And there will be no need for expensive ‘quality of service’ upgrades.

Management

The Splicecom browser screen shows the call status of every phone extension on the system. It shows who is on the phone, call durations, and individual usage. The system is perfect for monitoring departmental use and company communications efficiency.

A British triumph!

The Splicecom Maximiser was conceived, designed and built in Great Britain. This alone offers you considerable benefits – its British designers and engineers are not continents away, so UK customers are on the spot to take advantage of any updates and developments. And because the company is operating in Britain it will be far more responsive to changes in its home market.

Some Splicecom work efficiency scenarios

I’ve more than one telephone number

Most of us have three or more numbers – including an office extension, a mobile and a home telephone. All three can be accessed via the browser screen, and you can divert calls to any one of them at the click of a mouse. You may be going out – then simply instruct the system to forward your calls to voicemail, or to your mobile, or to any remote phone – instantly.

You’re in an internet cafe

Enjoy a cappuccino AND all the advantages of being in the office! To make a business call using your mobile, log in to the system browser using the cafe computer or your laptop. Dial through the browser, which cleverly makes the call through the office Maximiser system and routes it to your mobile.

And remember, before logging out you can direct later incoming calls to your mobile, to your voice mail or to a colleague, depending on your next destination and the pattern of your schedule.

You’re parked in a layby

A customer calls with a delivery enquiry. The call is diverted from your office phone to your mobile. You answer, put the caller on hold as if you were in the office, ring your despatch department extension, get the required information, and then relay it to your customer – all from the layby, and all without hanging up and redialling your customer. If you’re impressed then your customer will be too!

You have an eleven o’clock appointment

There’s not enough time to go into the office first, so you decide to work at home. Simply log on to the system browser, route all incoming calls to your home phone, and suddenly your house is your office! And, because calls are being handled by the office Maximiser, there’s no tedious filling in of expense forms, which will please your accounts department.

Using your home as an office

Splicemaster Maximiser is the perfect telephone system for home workers with a list of clients to call. You simply log on to the system browser through your home computer, and dial out with a click of the mouse. You can program the Maximiser to divert all customer calls to your house – it makes the calls and connects the prospects to your home phone. Once again, there are no expense forms to fill in.
