About us
Equations started life in Somerset in 1990, specialising in information technology.
We quickly established a reputation for excellence, supplying innovative and value-for-money services to an international client portfolio – including the locally-based aerosystems company Westland Systems Assessment, Sandvik Hard Materials in Coventry, the Scottish Office in Edinburgh, BP in New Zealand, and the United Nations High Commission for Refugees in Geneva, and other businesses and organisations worldwide.
Because of our high quality of service, clients began to ask us for a wider range of products and services. As a result, Equations moved into the provision of digital telephone systems and structured cabling for voice and data networks.
As the company expanded and more staff were recruited, Equations relocated twice, before adding more offices across a wider geographical area, ensuring a superior service and a still stronger regional presence.

The original management team from 1990 are still key players within the enlarged company. We may have more staff, more offices and more products but the core values of the company remain: excellence in the provision of products and services and a pledge to treat every client as an individual and to assess his or her needs accordingly.
